About the team

The majority of users on Blind are experienced software engineers who are using the Blind app daily. Every month, thousands of Blind users sign up for Talent, our recruiting service where job seekers provide their resume and profile information.
We are developing a talent marketplace where job seekers and employers can match more effectively. There are two methods: employers can source our talent database and job seekers can express interest in job listings. We are looking for a seasoned business leader to help us build out the talent marketplace and help disrupt the industry-wide inefficiencies in hiring great talent. Our mission is to bring more transparency to the job search process.

Responsibilities

Manage a diverse team of individuals across full-service and self-service recruiting, customer success, marketing and operations
Own the marketplace metrics across job seeker acquisition, employer growth, job seeker & employer matches, and revenue
Drive B2C and B2B marketing campaigns and lead pricing & business model strategies
Work closely with product development teams to develop innovative products and align our product & business strategy
Develop scalable and efficient processes to deliver maximum results, high customer satisfaction, and alignment across teams

Basic qualifications

10+ years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development roles
5+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams and in leadership roles
Deep expertise in growing and scaling two-sided marketplaces
Strong understanding of the tech recruiting industry and evolving business models
Fundamentally takes a data-driven approach to solve problems and make decisions
Ability to define top-level strategies while sweating key execution details
Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in a fast-paced working environment

Blind’s minimum cash compensation salary range for this role is $200,000.00 to $250,000.00 (if applicable, plus commission) per year. This salary range includes compensation for multiple job levels. Your job level will be based on an assessment of your interview performance and experience, which you can always ask about to understand in more detail. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors. Salary is just one component of our total rewards package for employees at Blind. Total rewards include equity, medical, dental, and vision coverage, a flexible PTO policy, parental leave, stipends for WFH and L&D, and other region-specific benefits.
