About the Role
Blind’s US Advertising business is growing year over year, and we’re honored that brands like Meta, Amazon, and ServiceNow have joined the discourse on Blind among our highly-educated, well-compensated and ambitious audiences. Our goal as a team is to expand and enhance our advertising services, delivering exceptional, tailored campaign activations to our brand and agency partners.
We are looking for an Account Executive to help us move upmarket through direct large brand relationships or media agencies. If you’re an ambitious seller who has built strong relationships with brand marketers, we have a role offering a great working environment with significant incentives for driving results.
Responsibilities
•
Sell and manage digital advertising campaigns (display, video, native, and custom sponsorships).
•
Source, pitch, and close opportunities with enterprise brands and media agencies.
•
Solid experience selling enterprise brand awareness campaigns either through enterprise direct or through media agencies.
•
Identify upsell opportunities and expand existing accounts.
•
Build and maintain strategic relationships with marketers, delivering innovative and client-focused campaign proposals.
•
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver creative, high-impact campaigns.
•
Maintain accurate records and forecasting in CRM tools.
Qualifications
•
Minimum of 5 years of advertising sales experience (digital media, publisher, or platform) with a focus on managing enterprise brand accounts.
•
Deep industry knowledge and a strong understanding of client needs and dynamics in the digital marketing and advertising landscape.
•
Demonstrated success in managing enterprise brand accounts and securing new business worth over $150,000 quarterly.
•
Knowledge of video or display ad sales.
•
Strong familiarity with media agencies and direct brand relationships.
•
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
•
Proficient in CRM and sales efficiency tools like Salesforce, MediaRadar, and Apollo.
•
Based in New York or San Francisco is strongly preferred.

Compensation
Blind's base compensation salary range for this role is $85,000 to $100,000 per year, plus performance-based commission (OTE $180,000 to $200,000). Specific compensation packages are tailored based on geographical location, experience, and expertise. Blind offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes equity, health coverage, flexible PTO, parental leave, home office and professional development stipends, among other benefits.
